Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Generously grease four 6 x 3 x 2-inch loaf pans.
  3. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  4. In a large mixer bowl at medium speed, beat sugar, vegetable oil, and eggs until blended.
  5. Add mashed ripe bananas and beat until well blended.
  6. At low speed, beat in flour mixture just until blended.
  7. Stir in semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  8. Pour batter into the prepared pans.
  9. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  10. Cool in pans for 10 minutes.
  11. Remove from pans and cool on wire racks.
  12. Store overnight before serving.
