Chocolate Chip Pecan Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. quick oats
  • 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand milk
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 c. packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, oats and brown sugar.
  2. Using 2 knives or pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Reserve 1/2 cup.
  3. Press remaining mixture in bottom of greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking dish.
  4. Bake 10 minutes in 350°
  5. oven.
  6. Remove and cool for 15 minutes.
  7. Pour condensed milk over cooled mixture. Spread evenly.
  8. Cover with pecans and chips.
  9. Top with reserved 1/2 cup crumb mixture.
  10. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
  11. Cool before cutting.
