Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. butter
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pkg. (12 oz.) chocolate morsels
  • 1/2 c. hickory nuts
  • 1/2 c. pecan meal
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. Combine butter, sugars and vanilla. Beat until creamy.
  3. Beat in eggs.
  4. Gradually add flour.
  5. Blend well.
  6. Stir in chocolate morsels, nuts and pecan meal.
  7. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
  9. Makes 120 (2-inch) cookies.
