Ingredients

  • 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 Tbsp. shortening
  • 2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 3 c. shredded wheat biscuits
  • 1/2 c. chopped peanuts or walnuts

Instructions

  1. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips with the shortening until smooth.
  2. Stir in the powdered sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the peanut butter to the chocolate mixture and blend thoroughly.
  4. Crush the shredded wheat biscuits into small pieces and fold into the peanut butter mixture.
  5. Mix in the chopped peanuts or walnuts.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto wax paper and let them set until firm.
