- Melt butter in the bottom of a pan.
- Add enough crushed walnuts to cover the bottom of the pan to form the crust.
- Cook the diet chocolate pudding, whipping cream, water, and unflavored gelatin until it boils.
- Let the pudding mixture cool.
- When the pudding is cool, mix Cool Whip Lite and cream cheese until smooth.
- Slowly add the cooled pudding mixture to the Cool Whip and cream cheese mixture, blending well.
- Pour the filling over the nut crust and refrigerate until set.
