Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cold whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 prepared pie crust
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water

Instructions

  1. In a small cup, sprinkle unflavored gelatin over cold water; let stand for 1 minute to soften.
  2. Add boiling water to the gelatin; stir until completely dissolved and mixture is clear.
  3. Allow the gelatin mixture to cool slightly, about 5 minutes.
  4. Whisk sugar, vanilla extract, cocoa, and cold whipping cream together in a bowl.
  5. Combine the cooled gelatin mixture with the whipped cream mixture, stirring gently.
  6. Pour the filling into a prepared pie crust.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
