Chocolate Toffee Nut Squares combine crunchy saltines, buttery caramel, chocolate chips, and nuts for a rich, sweet treat perfect for parties or casual snacking.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 box saltines
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips
  • nuts

Instructions

  1. Arrange a single layer of saltine crackers (salty side up) in a jelly roll pan.
  2. Melt together the margarine and brown sugar and pour over the crackers.
  3. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 6 to 8 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot crackers.
  5. Let sit for a few minutes until chocolate melts, then spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle nuts over the melted chocolate.
  7. Allow to cool completely before breaking into squares.
