Ingredients

  • 16 oz semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 egg yolks

Instructions

  1. Line a loaf pan with plastic wrap.
  2. Mix 1/2 cup heavy cream with egg yolks.
  3. In a 3-quart pan, stir the semi-sweet chocolate, light corn syrup, and butter over medium heat until melted.
  4. Add the egg mixture and stir constantly for 3 minutes.
  5. Cool to room temperature and beat the remaining 1 1/2 cups heavy cream, powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  6. Fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture, pour into the prepared pan, and freeze.
  7. Unmold and slice thinly. Serve with raspberry sauce.
