- Line a loaf pan with plastic wrap.
- Mix 1/2 cup heavy cream with egg yolks.
- In a 3-quart pan, stir the semi-sweet chocolate, light corn syrup, and butter over medium heat until melted.
- Add the egg mixture and stir constantly for 3 minutes.
- Cool to room temperature and beat the remaining 1 1/2 cups heavy cream, powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture, pour into the prepared pan, and freeze.
- Unmold and slice thinly. Serve with raspberry sauce.
