Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, salt, sugar, and baking soda.
  3. Add the oil, vinegar, vanilla, and water to the dry ingredients.
  4. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
