Ingredients

  • 6 c. shredded fresh cabbage
  • 3 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 clove garlic or 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 c. chicken broth
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp. m.s.g.
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar
  • dash of pepper

Instructions

  1. Shred the fresh cabbage and set aside.
  2. Dissolve the cornstarch in 2 tablespoons of chicken broth.
  3. Add the m.s.g., sugar, and pepper to the cornstarch mixture and set aside.
  4. Arrange the shredded cabbage on a tray in the order in which the ingredients will be used.
  5. Heat the salad oil in a pan, then add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  6. Pour the chicken broth mixture over the cabbage and toss well to coat.
  7. Serve immediately or chill before serving.
