Ingredients

  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pound can bean sprouts
  • 1 can Chinese noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup regular rice (uncooked)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

Instructions

  1. Brown the onions and celery in butter.
  2. Add the rice and ground beef and brown.
  3. Combine the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, water, soy sauce, and pepper in a 2-quart casserole dish.
  4. Add the browned beef and vegetable mixture to the casserole dish and mix well.
  5. Lightly stir in the bean sprouts.
  6. Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Uncover and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
  8. Serve with Chinese noodles and soy sauce.
