Ingredients

  • 2 large bell peppers
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can pinto beans
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can chili beans
  • 1 package chili seasoning

Instructions

  1. Chop the bell peppers and boil them until tender.
  2. While boiling the peppers, brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  3. In a large pot, combine the cooked peppers, browned beef and onion, pinto beans, kidney beans, chili beans, tomato juice, and chili seasoning.
  4. Cook the mixture for approximately 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with sweet pickles, olives, and shredded Cheddar cheese if desired.
