A creamy, flavorful salmon cheese spread with optional herbs and nuts, perfect for spreading on crackers or vegetables for a quick, elegant appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 (7 1/2 oz.) can pink or red salmon, drained
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
  • a little lemon juice (optional)
  • a dash of dill (optional)
  • chopped pecans or nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix the drained salmon and softened cream cheese in a mixer or processor until well combined.
  2. If desired, add a little lemon juice and a dash of dill for extra flavor, then mix again.
  3. Cover the mixture and refrigerate to chill.
  4. Optional: Roll the chilled spread in chopped pecans or nuts, then cover with plastic wrap.
  5. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  6. Serve with crackers or vegetables.
