Ingredients

  • 2 cups light brown sugar
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 pound box dates, chopped
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 cup nuts, chopped
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies

Instructions

  1. Melt the margarine in a saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add the light brown sugar and chopped dates to the melted margarine.
  3. Mix well and cook over low heat for 6 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in chopped nuts, flaked coconut, and Rice Krispies.
  5. Shape the mixture into balls.
  6. Roll the balls in powdered sugar to coat.
