Ingredients

  • 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (3 oz.) package cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/4 cup chutney
  • 2 green onions, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • sesame crackers

Instructions

  1. Combine the grated Cheddar cheese and room temperature cream cheese in a bowl.
  2. Remove the fruit from the chutney and chop it finely.
  3. Add the chopped fruit and chutney syrup to the cheese mixture.
  4. Stir in the minced green onions, ground ginger, and salt.
  5. Chill the mixture for several hours or overnight to blend the flavors.
  6. Serve the chutney cheese spread with sesame crackers.
