Cindy'S Corn Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 c. yellow cornmeal
  • 1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/3 c. honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Measure dry ingredients into a large bowl and stir to mix.
  3. Measure remaining ingredients into a large measuring cup or medium bowl.
  4. Mix together thoroughly and add to dry ingredients.
  5. Stir with a wire whisk until dry ingredients are moist.
  6. Pour batter into a nonstick or lightly oiled 8 x 8-inch pan.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
