Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 (7.5 oz.) cans Pillsbury biscuits

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine margarine, chopped pecans, sugar, and cinnamon; set aside.
  3. Separate the biscuit dough into 20 biscuits.
  4. Flatten each biscuit slightly.
  5. Spoon about 1/4 teaspoon of the pecan mixture into the center of each biscuit.
  6. Fold each biscuit in half and pinch the edges to seal.
  7. Place the biscuits, fold side down, in a greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan, forming 4 rows of 5 biscuits each.
  8. Spoon the remaining pecan mixture over the biscuits.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes until deep golden brown.
  10. Cool for 5 minutes.
  11. Invert onto a serving plate with the pecan side up.
  12. In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar and 3 to 4 teaspoons milk to make icing.
  13. Drizzle the icing over the warm loaf.
  14. Serve in slices or pull apart.
