Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning
  • 4 lb. small red potatoes
  • 2 lb. kielbasa or hot smoked link sausage, cut into 1.5-inch slices
  • 6 ears fresh corn, halved
  • 4 lb. jumbo fresh shrimp, unpeeled
  • 1/2 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Fill a large Dutch oven halfway with water and add 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning.
  2. Bring the water to a boil and add the potatoes, then bring to a second boil.
  3. Add the sausage slices and halved corn ears, and bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Cook for 10 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
  5. Add the shrimp, cayenne pepper, and lemon juice, and cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink.
  6. Remove the seafood and vegetables with a slotted spoon and transfer to a serving platter.
  7. Serve immediately with cocktail sauce.
