Ingredients

  • 12 oz. noodles
  • 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1 jar pimento
  • 12 1/2 oz. albacore tuna
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 can skimmed evaporated milk
  • slivered almonds

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles until al dente, then drain.
  2. In a bowl, mix the cream of celery soup and evaporated milk; then dissolve the cheddar cheese into this mixture.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the tuna, chopped and sautéed celery, chopped green pepper, and mayonnaise.
  4. Drain the cooked noodles and mix them into the soup and cheese mixture.
  5. Add the tuna mixture to the noodles and pour everything into a Pam-sprayed casserole dish.
  6. Sprinkle grated cheese, slivered almonds, and potato chips on top.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes until bubbly and brown.
