Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/4 lb. butter, softened
  • 1 can minced clams, drained
  • grated onion
  • juice from grated onion
  • dash of salt

Instructions

  1. Blend the cream cheese and softened butter with a fork until smooth.
  2. Add the drained minced clams, grated onion, onion juice, and a dash of salt to the mixture. Mix well.
  3. Toast the bread rounds on one side until lightly browned.
  4. Spread the clam mixture on the untoasted side of each bread round.
  5. Place the prepared bread in an oven preheated to 325°F and bake until hot and bubbly, about 10 minutes.
  6. Serve immediately while hot and bubbly.
