Ingredients

  • 12 oz. elbow macaroni
  • 2 lb. Cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 oz. can evaporated milk
  • black pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil the elbow macaroni until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a 9 x 13-inch baking dish, beat the eggs and add the drained macaroni.
  3. Cut 2 pounds of cheddar cheese into cubes and add to the dish.
  4. Add 2 sticks of margarine and black pepper to taste.
  5. Pour the evaporated milk over the mixture.
  6. Stir until the mixture is thick and well combined.
  7. Slice the remaining pound of cheddar cheese on top of the mixture.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes until bubbly and brown.
