Ingredients

  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 can fruit (peaches, apples, or berries)

Instructions

  1. Put the stick of oleo in a deep baking dish and melt it in the oven at 350°F.
  2. In a bowl, make a batter with sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and milk.
  3. Pour the batter over the melted oleo without stirring.
  4. Empty the can of fruit on top of the batter without stirring.
  5. Bake at 350°F until done, approximately 1 hour.
