Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon red cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • pecan halves

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter until smooth; then add shredded Cheddar cheese, salt, cayenne pepper, and flour. Mix until combined.
  2. Roll the dough into small balls and press pecan halves onto each to flatten slightly.
  3. Place the prepared biscuits on a cookie sheet.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 15 minutes until golden brown.
