Ingredients

  • 4 Granny Smith apples
  • 1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 10 oz. buttermilk-flavored biscuits
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3/4 cup shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Peel, core, and slice the apples, then cut each slice in half.
  2. In a bowl, combine the apple slices, caramel ice cream topping, and flour. Mix well and spoon into a pie pan.
  3. Peel apart each biscuit into two thinner biscuits and place them on top of the apple mixture.
  4. Drizzle melted margarine over the biscuits.
  5. In a small bowl, combine sugar and shredded coconut.
  6. Sprinkle the coconut mixture evenly over the biscuits.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
