Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 2 lb. powdered sugar
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 16 ounces chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cake paraffin wax

Instructions

  1. Cream the margarine, condensed milk, and powdered sugar together until well combined.
  2. Add chopped nuts, coconut, and vanilla to the mixture and mix thoroughly.
  3. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator until firm enough to handle.
  4. Roll the chilled mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a tray.
  5. Refrigerate the balls again until chilled.
  6. In a double boiler, melt the chocolate chips and paraffin wax until smooth.
  7. Dip each coconut ball into the melted chocolate mixture, coating completely.
  8. Place the coated balls on wax paper and allow to cool and set.
