Ingredients

  • 1 pie shell (regular or graham cracker)
  • 1 large pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip
  • 1 small jar caramel
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped

Instructions

  1. Bake the pie shell until golden and let it cool.
  2. Toast pecans and coconut separately until lightly browned.
  3. Combine the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk thoroughly until smooth.
  4. Fold in the Cool Whip into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Pour half of the cream mixture into the cooled pie shell.
  6. Sprinkle with half of the toasted coconut.
  7. Layer the remaining cream mixture over the coconut layer.
  8. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  9. Drizzle with warmed caramel sauce.
  10. Sprinkle with the remaining toasted coconut.
  11. Refrigerate the pie overnight before serving.
