Instructions
- Cook dates, sugar, beaten egg, and butter on top of a double boiler for 15 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from stove and add vanilla, Rice Krispies, and chopped nuts.
- Form into balls and roll in shredded coconut.
- Refrigerate until firm and ready to serve.
