Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar, butter, egg yolks, and vanilla in a pan.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until thick (about 12 minutes).
  3. Stir in coconut and chopped pecans.
  4. Spread in a pan and bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes or until done.
