Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cups oats
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/3 cups coconut

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add honey, oats, brown sugar, vanilla, and coconut to the melted butter.
  3. Stir until well blended and the mixture is uniform.
  4. Press the mixture into a well-greased 8-inch pan, spreading evenly.
  5. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool before cutting into bars.
