Ingredients

  • 1 codfish fillet
  • 1 medium can tomato sauce
  • 1 red pepper
  • garlic powder to taste
  • 3 large potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil

Instructions

  1. Clean the codfish fillet thoroughly, then boil and drain it.
  2. Clean the codfish again, removing all salt.
  3. Boil the codfish until tender and set aside.
  4. Boil the potatoes until firm, then cool them.
  5. In a frying pan, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sliced onions, cooking until softened.
  6. Add the red pepper and tomato sauce to the pan, stirring regularly over medium heat.
  7. Season with garlic powder to taste.
  8. Add the cooked codfish and potatoes to the sauce, stirring gently to combine.
  9. Cook for a few more minutes to allow flavors to meld, then serve.
