Coffee Nut Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. butter, softened
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2/3 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. nuts
  • 1/3 c. strong coffee

Instructions

  1. Mix well, flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt; set aside. In large bowl, cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs and vanilla until fluffy.
  2. Alternately stir in flour mixture and coffee.
  3. Stir in nuts.
  4. Turn into greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  5. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
