Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 lb. bottom round roast
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cups cola
  • 12 oz. chili sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Rub the spice mixture over the roast.
  3. Brown the roast on all sides in vegetable oil in a Dutch oven.
  4. Drain off the drippings.
  5. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over the meat.
  6. Cover and bake at 325°F for 3 hours or until tender.
