Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 small sweet onion, chopped
  • 1 small green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped ham or turkey
  • 4 oz. sour cream
  • 4 oz. mayonnaise
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni until al dente, then drain and cool.
  2. Combine the cooked macaroni with chopped onion, chopped green bell pepper, grated Cheddar cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix everything thoroughly until well combined.
  4. Chill the salad in the refrigerator before serving.
  5. Optional: Add chopped, boiled eggs for extra flavor and protein.
