Ingredients

  • 9 slices bread
  • 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 lb. Swiss cheese
  • 1 lb. bacon
  • 3 c. milk
  • 6 eggs

Instructions

  1. Cover a 9 x 13-inch pan with slices of bread.
  2. Grate both cheeses and sprinkle on top of the bread.
  3. Layer the browned and drained bacon slices over the cheese.
  4. Beat the milk and eggs together and pour evenly into the pan.
  5. Cover the dish and refrigerate overnight.
  6. Bake uncovered at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes.
