Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Crisco oil
  • 2 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups plain flour
  • 8 medium eggs
  • 1/2 cup condensed Eagle Brand milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Grease and flour a tube pan.
  3. Beat together the Crisco oil and sugar until well combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Stir in vanilla flavoring.
  6. Add the flour and condensed milk alternately, beginning and ending with the flour, mixing well after each addition.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  8. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  9. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes before removing.
