Ingredients

  • 1 small pkg. macaroni
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small green pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, grated or Cheez Whiz
  • 1 small jar pimento
  • 1 small can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 can Durkee onion rings, crushed

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain.
  2. Mix cooked macaroni with mayonnaise, cream of mushroom soup, chopped onion, chopped green pepper, grated cheddar cheese or Cheez Whiz, pimento, sliced mushrooms, and crushed Durkee onion rings.
  3. Put the mixture into a casserole dish and top with French fried onion rings.
  4. Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes, covered until the last 10 minutes of baking.
