Cookie Crumb Pie

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • dash of salt
  • 3/4 c. crushed chocolate wafers
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Beat egg whites and salt until they form soft peaks.
  2. Add sugar; beat until stiff.
  3. Fold in nuts, vanilla and cookies. Spread in buttered pie pan and bake for 35 minutes in a 325° oven. Chill.
  4. Top with Cool Whip.
