Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. sorghum molasses

Instructions

  2. Cream shortening until soft in a medium-sized bowl.
  3. Gradually add sugar, creaming after each addition, until mixture is fluffy.
  4. Beat in egg and sorghum molasses.
  5. Sift dry ingredients over creamed mixture; blend well.
