- Stir together mushroom, onion, mayonnaise, cheese, and white wine; set aside.
- In a medium skillet, over medium-high heat, cook scallops in 2 tablespoons margarine until opaque.
- Remove scallops from skillet and drain well.
- Cook mushrooms and onion in 2 tablespoons margarine for 3 minutes.
- Add cooked mushrooms and onion to the cheese mixture with scallops.
- Spoon the mixture into 6 individual baking dishes or shells.
- Sprinkle with bread crumbs mixture.
- Broil 6 inches from heat source for 2 to 4 minutes or until browned.
