Ingredients

  • 1 can green beans
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can Shoe Peg corn
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • pinch of salt
  • slivered almonds
  • 1 roll Ritz crackers

Instructions

  1. Mix the drained green beans and Shoe Peg corn together in a bowl.
  2. Spread the vegetable mixture evenly in a casserole dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the mushroom soup, chopped onion, cream cheese, sour cream, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
  4. Spread the soup mixture evenly over the vegetables in the casserole dish.
  5. Sprinkle crushed Ritz crackers on top of the soup layer.
  6. Melt the butter (oleo) and pour it over the cracker topping.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes until bubbly and golden.
