Ingredients

  • 1 can French-style green beans, drained
  • 1 can LeSueur peas, drained
  • 1 can Shoe Peg corn, drained
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • small onion (optional)
  • small jar pimiento (optional)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup oil

Instructions

  1. Boil sugar and vinegar together until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Allow the mixture to cool.
  3. Add oil and lemon juice if the dressing is too sweet.
  4. Toss the drained vegetables with the cooled dressing.
  5. Chill the salad for several hours or overnight before serving.
