Ingredients

  • 2 c. corn meal
  • 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Put oil in your frying pan and heat it up.
  2. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil.
  3. Let the cakes brown on one side.
  4. Turn and cook about 5 minutes until done.
