Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 pkg. Betty Crocker sour cream and chive potatoes
  • 2 c. water
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1 can whole kernel corn
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • pepper
  • 3 to 4 drops red pepper sauce

Instructions

  1. Heat margarine in a saucepan until melted.
  2. Stir in chopped onion and cook until tender.
  3. Add the package of Betty Crocker sour cream and chive potatoes along with the sauce mix, water, and milk.
  4. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
  5. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  6. Stir in the can of whole kernel corn with liquid, salt, pepper, and red pepper sauce.
  7. Simmer uncovered for an additional 5 minutes.
