Ingredients

  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cans corn (whole grain), drained
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter or oleo
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in scalded milk.
  2. In a bowl, beat eggs and add vanilla (if using).
  3. Add flour, salt, sugar, and pepper to the beaten eggs and mix well.
  4. Pour the egg mixture into the scalded milk with melted butter and stir.
  5. Add drained corn and mix thoroughly.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 30 minutes or until set and golden on top.
