Ingredients

  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 1/4 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients well.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon cooking oil into a small frying pan.
  3. Heat the pan, then pour the batter into the hot oil.
  4. Brown the cornbread a little on the stovetop.
  5. Transfer the pan to an oven preheated to 375°F and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
