Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 c. rice
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 2 c. tomato juice
  • 1/2 c. grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook beef, rice, and chopped onion until lightly browned.
  2. Add salt, black pepper, paprika, tomato juice, olives, and boiling water to the mixture.
  3. Place the mixture in a greased casserole dish.
  4. Cover and bake in a 300°F (150°C) oven for 1 hour.
  5. Uncover, sprinkle with grated cheese, and continue baking for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese melts.
