Ingredients

  • 2 lb. crab claws
  • 1 cup crab meat (lump)
  • 1/2 cup crab claw meat
  • 1/2 cup shrimp
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 lb. whitefish fillet
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups clam juice
  • salt to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. white pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and cook for 4 minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. Stir the cornstarch into the skillet and cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Add water, clam juice, salt, white pepper, and garlic powder; cook slowly for 5 minutes.
  5. Add crab meat, shrimp, whitefish, and crab claws; cook until heated through, about 20 minutes on low heat.
