Creamy crab-stuffed pasta shells feature tender shells filled with crabmeat, ricotta, parsley, and horseradish, baked in a savory sauce for a comforting seafood dish suitable for entertaining or family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 package jumbo shells
  • 1 1/2 cups crabmeat or imitation crabmeat
  • 15 ounces low-fat ricotta cheese
  • 1/3 cup chopped parsley (fresh)
  • 2 teaspoons horseradish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta shells according to package directions.
  2. Drain and cool the cooked shells.
  3. In a large bowl, stir together crabmeat, ricotta cheese, chopped parsley, and horseradish.
  4. Stuff each shell with about 1 tablespoon of the mixture.
  5. Pour 1 cup of sauce on the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  6. Arrange the stuffed shells in the pan and cover with remaining sauce.
  7. Cover the pan with foil.
  8. Bake for 35 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
