Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. powdered chili mix
  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 can beans in chili sauce
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • grated Cheddar cheese (optional)
  • sour cream (optional)
  • Fritos, crumbled (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground chuck in a large skillet, breaking the meat into small bite-sized pieces with a fork.
  2. In a large saucepan, combine the chili mix, beans in chili sauce, diced tomatoes, and tomato sauce.
  3. Add the browned ground chuck to the saucepan.
  4. Simmer the mixture over low heat for 1 to 1 1/2 hours to blend the flavors.
