Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange peel
  • 2 oranges peeled, sliced and quartered
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, combine cranberries, orange peel, oranges, raisins, and water.
  2. Cover and simmer over medium heat until cranberries are soft.
  3. Add chopped pecans and sugar; stir well.
  4. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring often.
  5. Cool the mixture.
  6. Spoon into covered containers.
  7. Refrigerate before serving.
